"The Legend"

See if you can catch a glimpse of the hazy gossamer that walks the 14 acre apple orchard!

Long ago a farmer's daughter, Rebecca, fell in love with a young Native Amercan boy named Bo.  They met as small children on an autumn day while Rebecca was picking apples in her family's orchard.  Although forbidden to see each other due to fighting amongst the farm family and the tribe, the two friends would secretly meet and rendezvous beneath the boughs of one particular apple tree.  An undying love soon began to blossom.

Upon the threat of serious attack, Rebecca and her family were forced to leave the farm and were not allowed to return for many years.  As the time past, Rebecca never stopped thinking of Bo and her love for him grew stronger with every passing moment.  Eventually, she returned to the farm in search of her love.  Rebecca would walk the orchard and wait by the same secret apple tree day after day.  Bo never returned and Rebecca was left heartbroken until her dying day.

At times a white cotton pinafore can be spotted billowing through the trees when the moon is full and the air has an element of indecision. Some claim she still roams the orchard in search of her lost love.
